Heavenly Trumpet

Handmade stoneware cup featuring a sculpted Heavenly trumpet.

Inspired by hedge bindweed (Calystegia sepium), a vine often overlooked as a weed, this piece reflects its quiet resilience and gentle yet unwavering capacity to grow and flourish.

Each vessel is formed by hand using the pinching technique, with every botanical detail individually sculpted. After drying, the piece is kiln-fired, hand-glazed, and fired once more at high temperature to achieve its final finish. Read more about the making process on the Ceramic Process page.
